TERMS
The deal,
written down.
Everything I say on the rest of this site, in the form you can hold me to. If a line here contradicts a line on the home page, this one wins — and tell me, because it means I made a mistake.
THE SHORT VERSION
Half up front, half when the site is live. If what you see on day 7 isn't what we agreed, you don't pay the second half. The site, the domain and the data are yours from day one and stay yours whatever happens between us. Nothing here is a contract you're locked into.
Who you're dealing with
Landingpeak is a one-person studio, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands. There is no office and no street address published on this site, on purpose. The registered owner's name, the registered address, the KVK number and the VAT number appear on every invoice, and any of them is given by email on request — including a request that has nothing to do with buying anything.
How the date gets set
There is no delivery time advertised anywhere on this site, and that is deliberate: a number printed on a page is a guess about a job nobody has scoped yet. The date is agreed with you in writing, in the scope, before any money moves, and once it is in the scope it binds me the same way the price does.
What moves that date in practice is your material, not my speed — photos of your own work, your licence details, your service area and any prices you're willing to publish. If it arrives a week late the site lands a week late, and that isn't a penalty, it's arithmetic. I will tell you before we start what I need and what "good enough" looks like.
Money
- A single landing page is $1,000. A written diagnosis of your AI search visibility is $2,000. A consultation is $3,000. The whole site is $7,777 — that one number covers the design, the site itself (built from scratch, or the existing one repaired) and the search work, both classic SEO and AI visibility.
- Every price is the full price and the same for everyone. There is no founding rate, no launch discount and no offer that expires. A conversation beforehand costs nothing and carries no obligation.
- On a build, payment is split in two: half to start and half when the site is live.
- Nothing is due when you send the form or when we have the call. The first payment falls due once we've agreed a scope in writing.
- Hosting and upkeep are $100 per month, starting in month four, cancellable in any month with no exit fee.
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any tax that may apply in your jurisdiction.
The launch guarantee, stated precisely
You see the finished site, live, before the second payment is due. If it is not what we agreed in the written scope, you owe me nothing further and we part on good terms. I keep the first payment, which covers the work already done, and you keep everything produced up to that point.
What this is not: it is not a licence to change your mind about the brief the night before launch and expect a different site for free. Changes inside the agreed scope are part of the job and there is no limit on them. Changes that replace the brief are a new job, and I'll say so plainly rather than quietly absorbing them and resenting it.
Who owns what
You do. On final payment, the design, the code and the copy of your site are yours outright. The domain is registered in your name from the start, never mine. The customer data the site collects is yours and I claim no rights over it. If you leave, you take the whole site with you and I will help you move it — there is no proprietary platform to be trapped on, which is the entire point.
The one thing I keep is the right to show the work: screenshots and a description of what was built. If you'd rather I showed nothing, say so before we start and nothing gets shown — there is no discount attached to saying yes and no surcharge for saying no, because there is only one price either way.
What I need from you
That you have the right to everything you send me. If you hand me photographs you don't own, logos you licensed for something else, or copy lifted from a competitor, that's on you, and I'll ask before publishing anything that looks like it came from somewhere else.
What I don't promise
I don't promise a number of phone calls, a position in Google, a mention inside a ChatGPT answer, or a delivery date invented before the job is scoped. Anyone selling the first three is selling a placement that does not exist. What I promise is the build, the date once it is in the written scope, the ownership and the guarantee above — the things that are actually inside my control.
Support, and how it ends
Three months of support and changes are included after launch, counted from the day the site goes live. Bugs — things that are broken rather than things you'd like different — I fix free, permanently, whenever they turn up. From month four, hosting and upkeep are $100/mo, and you can stop any month by telling me. There is no notice period and no clawback.
If something goes wrong between us
Message me first. Almost everything is a misunderstanding that survives one honest conversation. Failing that, these terms are governed by Dutch law, and any dispute goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. My liability is limited to what you paid me. I am one person, not an insurer, and I would rather write that down than have you discover it during an argument.
