What I collect,
and what I don't.

There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking. Here is the long version anyway, because “trust me” is not a privacy policy.

THE SHORT VERSION

I collect the email address and business details you type into a form, so that I can reply to you. I do not sell them, do not share them with advertisers, and do not run any advertising or analytics trackers on this site. The free scanner reads a public web page you name and stores nothing. That's genuinely the whole thing — the rest of this page is the same statement in the detail the law expects.

Who is responsible for your data

Landingpeak is a one-person web design studio, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands at the address below. Landingpeak is the data controller for everything described on this page, and there is no team, no agency and no third party making these decisions. The registered owner's name, KVK number and VAT number are on every invoice, and I will give them to you by email the moment you ask — this page just isn't a business card.

Landingpeak is a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands; the registered postal address, the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number and the VAT number appear on every invoice and are given by email on request. They are not published on this site, which is a choice about the site and not a limit on your rights — ask and you get them.

What I collect, and why

When you fill in a form

The contact form on the home page asks for your trade, your name, your company and city, and your email address. The AI Visibility form asks only for an email. I use these to reply to you and to prepare for a call — nothing else. The legal basis is your consent, given by choosing to send the form, plus my legitimate interest in answering people who ask me a question.

When you run the free scanner

The scanner fetches the public web address you type in, along with its robots.txt, and scores what it finds. No result is stored and no account is created. The address you scanned is not written to any database, not attached to you, and not used to contact you. If you want a copy of a result, you take a screenshot — I don't have one to send you.

When you simply read the site

This site carries no advertising pixels, no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no cross-site trackers, which is also why you have not been asked to accept a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. My hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention, in the ordinary way every web server does.

Who else touches it

Three processors, each doing one job:

I do not sell personal data, I do not rent mailing lists, and I do not add you to a newsletter. There is no newsletter.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that never become projects are deleted within 24 months. Records tied to actual paid work are kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it of invoices and the correspondence behind them. Scanner queries are never stored, so there is nothing to delete.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to see what I hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive a copy in a portable format. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you comparable rights, including the right to know and to delete — and the right to opt out of sale, which is trivially satisfied here because there is no sale.

Email hello@landingpeak.com and I will do it within 30 days. You do not need a legal reason and I will not ask for one. If I ever handle this badly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

International transfers

I am in the Netherlands and most of my clients are in the United States, so your data crosses the Atlantic in the ordinary course of us working together. Where a processor handles EU personal data outside the EU, that transfer runs on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects anyone who has already contacted me, I email them. I don't quietly re-date the page and hope nobody notices.
